Due to the effects of COVID-19 we have had to close the school to most pupils except for certain children, starting from January 2021.
We are committed to helping families in any way we can to continue to provide our children with a full and varied curriculum.
Teachers have set and will continue to set a schemes of work (called Projects) which are appropriate to be worked on at home, and many of these activities will benefit from the help of an adult. Please help your children log in to their class pages, access the Projects, download their work and instructions, and upload anything they are required to upload.
If you are having trouble in any way in accessing the class pages and projects, in the first instance please see our Support page.
Work will be uploaded by the teachers weekly. If children complete their work early, they will have to wait for the next weeks work to be uploaded, as teachers will not be setting any extra work until the next week.
Here are the expectations:
  •  Daily physical activity
  •  Daily Maths Shed and Spelling Shed to secure maths skills and keep up spelling practice
  •  Daily times tables practise for KS2
  •  Daily phonics for Reception and Year 1
  •  Daily handwriting/ spelling practice
  •  A weekly extended writing task
  •  A reading comprehension text and questions
  •  Maths teaching slides, for example a unit of work on shape
  •  Daily mental maths / securing skills
  •  An ongoing book to read
  •  An ongoing topic project (this will not be changed weekly but be a longer project) linked to the wider curriculum.
