Please find below our home learning contingency plan in the event that your child cannot attend school due to Covid-19 related reasons. All home learning can be accessed via the Google classroom app. Each child has a Google login which provides access to Google classroom where work is posted and Google meetings for remote learning sessions. Your child will have been supplied with a login - please contact the school office if you do not know what this is.
Work will be uploaded by the teachers weekly. If children complete their work early, they will have to wait for the next weeks work to be uploaded, as teachers will not be setting any extra work until the next week.
Here are the expectations:
  •  Daily physical activity
  •  Daily Maths Shed and Spelling Shed to secure maths skills and keep up spelling practice
  •  Daily times tables practise for KS2
  •  Daily phonics for Reception and Year 1
  •  Daily handwriting/ spelling practice
  •  A weekly extended writing task
  •  A reading comprehension text and questions
  •  Maths teaching slides, for example a unit of work on shape
  •  Daily mental maths / securing skills
  •  An ongoing book to read
  •  An ongoing topic project (this will not be changed weekly but be a longer project) linked to the wider curriculum.
