At St Bon’s, we are more than just a school. We are a family. We want to be a "lighthouse"—a safe and bright place for everyone who needs help.

What is a School of Sanctuary?

We are working to become an official School of Sanctuary. This is a special award for schools that are safe and welcoming.

This means we:

• Stand together with refugees and asylum seekers.

• Support families who are going through difficult times.

• Provide a safe place where every child can grow and do well.

• Offer kindness, warmth, and friendship to everyone.

Our Promise

Being a School of Sanctuary is not just an award for us. It is a promise.

We follow the Gospel values of love and service every day. Each year, we focus on three big ideas:

1. Loving our Neighbour: Helping the people around us and understanding more about those who have different experiences.

2. Seeking the Truth: Understanding our world including the reasons for injustice and inequality

3. Caring for our Common Home: Looking after our planet.

We promise to stand with people in need. We want St Bon’s to be a place where everyone feels they belong.
